Application of the skills of radiological technology has diversified with the progress of medical technique and the development of medical equipment. Radiological technology has become highly developed and specialized with the advance of science in the background, and it plays increasingly important roles in the diagnosis and treatment of various illnesses. At the Department of Radiological Technology, students will gain a variety of specialized knowledge and learn skills such as x-ray photography, radioisotope photography, radiation therapy, radiation control, ultrasonography, computed tomography, and magnetic resonance images. Our aim is to foster clinical radiological technologist and researchers who can keep pace with the advancement of radiological technology.

Degree and Qualification for Graduates

Those who acquire prescribed credits on the curriculum set by the school are entitled to receive bachelor's degree of health science, and will be qualified to take a national examination to get a license for a clinical radiological technologist. It is also possible to get a qualification of a radiation protection supervisor with contents learned in this department and through personal effort.

Your future after graduation

When you get a license for a clinical radiological technologist, you can work in hospitals and medical examination centers across the country. Alternatively you can aim to be an educator or researcher by gaining higher knowledge at graduate school. The Graduate School Health Sciences Master’s Course was established in 2004 in our university. Also you can work in the medical equipment industry since you have been given multiple area education including medical, chemistry, physics and engineering.
